Geography Studies

We can offer courses for all levels of study in Geography from Key Stage 3 upwards.

 

The Gredos centre has the advantage of having nearly all of its areas of study close at hand. Some, such as river studies, ecosystems etc are within walking distance. Others, such as village studies,etc, are a short drive away and our furthest area of study (Avila) is only 45 minutes from the centre.

We are aware of the changes taking place at AS and A level and believe that we can offer courses which prepare students for the case studies they need in Human and Physical Geography at AS level and we can also prepare them for skills that will be assessed for the Geographical Skills paper at A2 level. 

At IGCSE and GCSE level we can offer a range of studies that will suit your needs and we have a great deal of experience in terms of preparation for the Alternative to Coursework option for the IGCSE.

Key Stage 3 programmes in Geography cover the basics of such topics as map reading and orienteering, river work, settlement, etc.

All of our courses can be combined with other activities mentioned on our website.
